Maya Khairallah

Hail all! My name is Maya Khairallah. I’m half Lebanese, half Scottish and I’m 15 years old. I live in Lebanon. I’m still growing up, in a country where being a metal head is “wrong”. Manowar was the first Heavy Metal band I heard when I started listening to metal music. It was basically Manowar’s lead vocalist, Eric Adams, who attracted me to Manowar. His voice was hypnotizing in my own opinion. He has this vibe in his voice its… far beyond words! I also loved their words, they lyrical theme and power. I even used some of their lyrics for an essay I had in school. ( I got an A - !!!!! THANK YOU MANOWAR ) haha. Whenever I feel that I’m missing something, listening to Manowar and their words always make me feel better. It’s like they give me the strength to keep going on, never look back, and fight for what I want! After Manowar, Viking Mythology was a big part of my beliefs. People would wonder where I got my interests from and they were pretty surprised to hear it was from a metal band. To those people who I know or have talked to, music means just something to listen to when you’re bored or want entertainment. To me, music sends a message. Specially Manowar and it helped me a lot. I’d really one day like to thank them face to face. It would be an honor!

Cheers Fellow Warriors, Together We Will Fight Till We Win or We’ll Fight Until We Die !!!!

Elias Khalil

I'm Elias from Lebanon. Where I was raised by the values of resistance, fight against oppression, struggle till victory. I'm 17, and it wasn't till 2005 that I got into Metal, and started learning to play the Guitar. Manowar is to me the perfect blend of thunder, wind and rain, musically speaking: it's the kind of music that makes you shake, tremble, shiver, feel the wrath of the earth and of man. The lyrics fall into this same perspective, as they represent some of the truest words I've ever heard.
It's kind of difficult for me to travel to Europe or elsewhere to see Manowar live, so I just wish one day they would come to Lebanon, although I know it'll probably never happen.

Best Regards my Brothers of Metal
